This is to inform you that a farewell function in honour of Prof. G. Ravindran, Former Dean, School of Communication and Professor in the Department of Media and Communication, who is retiring on 30th June 2025, was organized by the Department of Library and Information Science, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur, on 23rd May 2025 at 3:00 PM.
The event began with a welcome address delivered by Prof. S. Thanuskodi, Head, Department of Library & Information Science, CUTN. Prof. S. Ravi, Former Dean, School of Communication, CUTN, shared his experiences with Prof. G. Ravindran, followed by reflections from other faculty members of the Department of Library and Information Science.
Prof. G. Ravindran was honoured by the Department with a memento and shawl on stage. He then shared his memories and experiences with individual faculty members from the School of Communication. A formal Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. S. Ravikumar, Associate Professor, Department of Library and Information Science.
