We are pleased to inform you that Ms. Dharmavarapu Sindhu, Research Scholar, Department of Library and Information Science, Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), Thiruvarur, successfully participated in the 20th International Conference on Webometrics, Informetrics and Scientometrics (WIS) & 25th COLLNET Meeting (COLLNET 2026). The conference was organized by Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka, Badulla, Sri Lanka, on 1–2 October 2026. The conference brought together researchers and scholars working in the areas of scientometrics, bibliometrics, webometrics, information science, research evaluation, artificial intelligence, and related fields.
Ms. Dharmavarapu Sindhu presented her research paper entitled: “Awareness, Usage, and Perceptions of AI Tools in Academic Writing and Research: Evidence from Faculty and Research Scholars”. The research addresses the growing use of Artificial Intelligence tools in academic writing and research and examines the awareness, usage patterns, and perceptions of AI tools among faculty members and research scholars.
