Scholars of the Department have participated and presented the paper in ICSSR sponsored two days National Seminar on "Atmanirbhar Bharat and Media: On the Road to Success" organized by the Department of Media and Communication, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur on 28th - 29th April 2022. They successfully presented their paper on the topics "Role of Libraries in Self-Reliant India" and "E-learning: an approach headed towards making Atmanirbhar Bharat" respectively.

Successful Completion of Open Viva-Voce of Ms. Deepika R., M Phil Scholar

Dear All,

This is to inform you all that Ms. Deepika R., M. Phil. Scholar of Department successfully defended her M. Phil. open viva-voce held online through Google Meet on 28th April 2022. The scholar has elaborated the research work and answered the queries raised during the open viva-voce. Prof. Chandrashekara M. was the external subject expert for her open viva-voce. Dr. K. G. Sudhier, the supervisor, acts as convener of the open viva-voce function. Students, Research Scholars, and Faculties were present during the open viva-voce.

Successful Pre-Submission Seminar of PhD Scholar Mr. Sonteni Srinivas

Dear All,

This is to inform you all that Mr. Sonteni Srinivas, Ph.D. Scholar successfully presented his Ph.D. Pre-Submission Seminar held at the Department on 29th March 2022. His topic of research work is "A Study on the Use Patterns of Electronic Resources in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Andhra Pradesh". His research supervisor is Dr. Taddi Murali. The pre-submission seminar was attended by Faculties, Research Scholars, Students of the Department and staff members of Central Library.

Successful Participation in International Conference by Suman Barath & Ammaji Rajitha

Dear All,

This is to inform you that Mr. Suman Barath and Mrs. Ammaji Rajitha, Ph. D. Scholars of the Department have participated and presented the paper in 67th Annual Conference of Indian Library Association - 2022 (International Conference) on the theme "Open Access Sources and Information Services during Post-COVID Times: Challenges and Opportunities" organized by Dravidian University Library & DLISc, Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh; Indian Library Association (ILA), New Delhi; Andhra Pradesh Library Association (APLA), Vijayawada; and Madras Library Association (MALA), Chennai during 24th- 26th March, 2022. They successfully presented the their paper in the international conference.
