We are delighted to inform you that the Department of Library & Information Science, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur and South Zone of Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centers (IASLIC), Kolkata have jointly organized National Librarians' Day Celebration on the occasion of Padma Shri Dr. S. R. Ranganathan's 134th birth anniversary on 15th August 2026 at 04:00 PM through Google Meet.
On this occasion, Department has invited Prof. N. Laxman Rao, UGC Emeritus Fellow & Former Head, Department of Library & Information Science, Osmania University, Hyderabad as a special guest to deliver the theme talk "Library and Information Science Education in India at the Cross Roads."
