We are pleased to inform you that Ms. Sowmyamol U. S., a graduate of the MLIS programme (2022–2024) and an alumna of the Department of Library and Information Science, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur, has been selected as Professional Assistant (Library) at the Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Mysuru.
Prior to this achievement, she was selected as a Library Trainee at the Library of the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IITH), worked as a Librarian at The Indian Public School, Perungudi, Chennai, and is currently serving as a Project Trainee (LIM) at the JRD Tata Memorial Library, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, for a period of two years.
The Department extends its heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Sowmyamol U. S. on this remarkable accomplishment and wishes her continued success in all her future endeavours.
